From 2004 to 2012 he was Program Officer at the Ford Foundation’s regional office in Cairo.

From 1998 to 2004 he was Director of Programs and Services at the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council in New York. He is the co-founder of Rawa: Creative Palestinian Communities Fund, a participatory initiative that supports Palestinian grassroots to creatively solve community development challenges.
