Remya Nambeesan is an Indian actress and playback singer, who primarily works in Malayalam and Tamil films. She has acted in more than 70 films. She started her career as child artist and supporting roles in early 2000s, and went appear to lead roles in the mid-2000s.

Remya Nambeesan was born in Chottanikkara, Kochi, Kerala[1] to Subrahmaniam Unni and Jayasree.[2][3] Her father is a former theatre artiste, who was an active member of troupes such as "Jubilee" and "Harishree".
She has a brother, Rahul,[2] who has worked as the music director in the Malayalam movie Philips and the Monkey Pen and as a playback singer in the film Thattathin Marayathu.[4] She attended the Mahatma Gandhi Public School, Ambadimala near Chottanikkara.
