Nishant Dahiya was born on Friday, 4 January 1991 (age 29 years; as of 2020) in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh.
His father is a retired Indian Army Officer, so during his childhood, he travelled to various places across India with his father. He pursued B.Tech. in computer science & engineering at Kurukshetra University, Haryana.

During his college days, he developed an interest in modelling. So, he auditioned for Grasim Mr India (2006), and he was graced as the first runner up and won the best smile and Mr Photogenic titles. He gained confidence from his achievement and further planned to pursue his career in modelling.
He later shifted to Mumbai to fulfil his desire of becoming an actor.
