She is one of the India’s most successful female actors. Her debut film was Behkhudi in Hindi in the year 1992. Her first commercial success was Baazigar with Shahrukh Khan in 1993. With Shahrukh Khan, she acted in many success movies like Dilwale Dulhaniaya Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Kushi Kabhie Gham, and My Name is Khan. Her performance in these films were praised and earned her Filmfare Awards for Best Actress.

Kajol Devgan was born on 5^th August 1974 in Mumbai in a Bengali-Marathi descent.
